Job Position :Tech Support Engineer

Job Location :Bangalore, Karnataka

Compensation :Rs.1.9 Lac per Annum + transport

Desired Qualification :
• IV B.Tech students of all branches and MCA 2010, 2011, 2012
• Any Graduates (BE/B.Tech/MCA/3 years degree or diploma in hardware networking/trouble shooting

• Please find below the skills & competences required for Convergys for their Microsoft process based at Bangalore.
• As briefed, all the positions are going to be initial 6 months contract on PWS RPO Solution Payroll and may be renewed depending upon the performance and other factors.
• Skills & Competences required – Please find below the same
• Compensation – Freshers 15,500 Gross Monthly (13.5 take home)
• Designation – Technical Support Officer (Trainee).
• Any chance of continuation of their contract exceeding 6 months – Performance Based.
• Recruitment & Selection process – Basic Screening - Voice and Accent - Written and Online Test - Operation Round and Offer Generation (Selects).
• Guest house stay in case of resources not from Bangalore – 7 days Stay in company guest house.
• Traveling expenses - IIIrd AC ticket cost will be reimbursed.

• Sound knowledge of Computers and Laptops with good communication skills as it will be a voice based technical support,24/7 US Shift (Night /Late Eve & Graveyard Shift).
• Sound knowledge of operating systems – XP, Vista, Windows 7 
• Sound knowledge of computer hardware components – CPU, Motherboard, RAM, HDD, Modem
• Good working knowledge of the Internet
• Advance troubleshooting skills for Atleast one of the following:
- Computer Desktop, including Internal Hardware
- Computer Laptop, including Internal Hardware
• One of the Operating systems from the following:
- XP, Vista, Windows 7

• Provide Voice based troubleshooting support to customers over remote software and resolve Technical queries based on customer’s query. 
• Deliver Technical Support to Netgear customers over remote troubleshooting and chat support.
• This can be related to any computer/peripherals/networking related issues. 
• They will also be responsible for handling customers’ post registration technical queries, providing post-sale customer service.
• Help in achieving SLA’s specially AHT and FCR
• Communicate Quality standards and maintain customer satisfaction Index.
• Mentor and train the agents on latest issues
• Should come up with new troubleshooting techniques

• Manage end-user customer phone call / chat / Email / Remote
• Demonstrate effective typing and verbal communication sills
• Document Case information
• Utilize the Phone System
• Demonstrate efficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrate commitment to client/internal/customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate basic technical knowledge
• Sell the product plans of the organization
